The adaptive dancing is designed for adults, youths and children in wheelchairs.  Anyone is welcome, no matter what their ability or their disability. The classes are ones a week, one hour long, and are FREE.

Ballroom dances include the Waltz, Tango, Viennese Waltz, Foxtrot and Quickstep.  Latin-American dances include the Samba, Cha-Cha-Cha, Rumba, Paso Doble and Jive.  There is also Group Formation Dance for up to four couples.

There are two types of adaptive Ballroom dancing.

Combi Style Dancing

Combi style dancing involves one able-body partner (Walker), and one partner in wheelchair (Roller). The Roller can bring a partner, but if no partner is available, a volunteer dancer or instructor will play the Walker part.

Duo Style Dancing

Duo style dancing is when the two dancing partners are in wheelchairs. This type of dancing is more suitable for disabled people but with free movement of the upper part of the body. You have to bring a partner.
